Every Life Matters. ❤️🐾
For more than 14 years, Blacky has been a familiar face in Ward 44, Cuttack. Loved and cared for by the local community, she has quietly become a part of the neighbourhood's family.
A few weeks ago, Blacky developed a large tumour on her left hind leg. The pain became unbearable. She stopped her usual walks, lost her appetite and gradually withdrew from the life she had always enjoyed.
The moment we learned about her condition, we immediately reached out to our trusted friends at SFA "Speak For Animals" , an organization that has stood beside us on numerous occasions whenever animals have needed urgent care.
Without hesitation, they rescued Blacky, provided comprehensive veterinary care, successfully removed the tumour through surgery, treated a painful ear infection and ensured she received the antibiotics, medications and dedicated post-operative care she needed to recover.
Today, our hearts are full as we see Blacky back where she belongs-healthy, active, wagging her tail and reunited with the people who have cared for and loved her for over 14 years. Watching her once again greet familiar faces and settle comfortably into the place she calls home is the happiest ending we could have hoped for.
Blacky's journey reminds us that no life is insignificant. Community animals are part of our communities and they deserve compassion, medical care and the chance to live free from pain.
Because every life matters.
