BRAHMACHARI BEHERA, FREEDOM FIGHTER (Worked with NETAJI SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE) on dated 26th October 1975. Later, it was registered for the District Level on dated 29th January 1986. On 18th December 2011, NUPAKS celebrated it's SILVER JUBILEE and was proposed to upgrade it to STATE LEVEL and was finally got the registration for STATE LEVEL on date 25th April 2012. r to formulate and implement various social welfare and socioeconomic, cultural, literary, spiritual and other social development projects from time to time . (i) To function as a non-political, non profitable, charitable voluntary organization. (ii) To promote economic activities such as preparation of “talaguda” and to work for the protection of toddy-tapping rights. (iii) To promote integrated development through systematic time bound and result oriented programs with specific aims, plans, confidence and perseverance of the people. (iv) To motivate and involve all to identify and help to eradicate social evils like Dowry, Untouchability, Aids, Bonded Labourer, Low wages, Drug Abuse, illiteracy etc to create a new social order with greater freedom and justice. (v) To undertake relief measures in aid of people affected by natural and/ or man made calamities such as Flood, Cyclone, Drought, Earth quake, Avalanche etc. and also for Riot Victims. (vi) To strengthen and improve women’s work and employment in the sector of agriculture, Small Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries, Handlooms, Handicrafts, Khadi & Village Industries, Sericulture, Horticulture, Vermi-culture and pearl-culture. (vii) To give affiliation/ recognization to assist similar meritorious active organizations. (viii) To undertake various awareness Generation programs; for SC/ ST/ Minor community, Women and child development programs for improvement through the Government and other N.G.O's. (ix) To support programs for rehabilitation of physically handicap people, orphaned, leprosy, destitute, aged, child labour, street children, upliftment of scavengers and provision for legal aids etc. (x) To improve the welfare of the people of the society in every respect like Education, Law, Health, Sports, Culture, Economical discipline, Social service, Janani Surakshya Yojana, Immunization, Nutrition, Education Balwadis, Co-operative Enterprisers, Employment Schemes, Savings among people through their participation and learning as basics to all activities. (xi) To Co-operate and collaborate with others in the implementation of development programs to educate the youth on National Integration Family Welfare, Pollution control, Protection of environment, Alleviation of Rural poverty, Drinking water, Sanitation, Energy, Social and Industrial Forestry, Water-shed management, Waste land development ,Soil conservation, Science and Technology, Afforestation programs, Agro Forestry, Food preservation, Promoting Literacy and Rural Housing etc. (xii)To promote educational need by way of establishment library, study center, and various educational program through out Orissa. (xiii)To promote and develop spiritual awareness among the people by making various activities through Yoga practices principle and Satsang program, so that the human being can develop a link with God father, the supreme soul and enjoy real contract of mind intellect inner piece and happiness. (xiv) To promote health facilities to the women by providing Janani Surakhshya Yojana (JSY) program that is antenatal care, Postnatal care and child health etc. (xv) To educate man for foster soul, consciousness and the spirit of universal brotherhood. (xvi) Appoint and employ personnel on part time, full time, or assignment basis and o enlist the honorary services of volunteers to carry out the programs and activities of the society. (xvii)To develop amongst youth and sense of pride in nationality accepted values like democracy, socialism, secularism, and youth leadership to generate sports /games consciousness and mass participation in rural areas. (xviii)To help in preventing alcohol, drugs etc. by setting of training program. (xix) To raise welfare fund in order to help the members and their families in exigencies like accident, death, medical treatment due to prolonged illness. (xx) To receive and raise funds through fees, donation, subscription or grants from Government, Non-Governmental sources in India and abroad and spent such for the promotion of the objectives of the society. (xxi) To publish a journal/ magazine monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ annually. (xxii)To start branch office in different places according to the need and convenient to the situation.
