Greetings to all

Happy ending of 2025. Conservation and curiosity drive great wildlife research and for us, "The Nilgiris" has always been that spark. What began over 15 years ago as curiosity, grew into science-led research by a team of wildlife biologists from the Government Arts College, Ooty.
Though we took different paths after graduation, our shared concern for the Nilgiri landscape brought us together again. Guided by science and inspired by curiosity, we worked across multiple themes under wildlife biology.
This year, our team contributed to studies on taxonomy, animal behaviour, pet trade, roadkill, migratory species, and infrastructure threats, receiving attention from journals and media.
We thank press media platforms, WNCT, Ongil Nature Trust, ifornature and other institutions for their continued support.
Here’s to more research, conservation, and curiosity ahead.
