Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India) This is the valiant voice vociferated by Swami Vivekananda, the great Indian philosopher and our ideal as well as idol to unite specially the young generation for rural reconstruction and development. Inspired with the ideals of this lion-hearted saint some sensible
young people of India were assembled under a saffron umbrella christened as Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuba Mahamondal, an organization which lays emphasis on both physical and mental development of youth class and relieving the sufferings of mankind. Braja Gopal Sahoo, the present Member of MC of our organization become a member of that Mahamondal at a very teen age and had been nurtured the idea of setting up an organization in our locality in the year 1974. With his tireless striving stretching toward the goal, Vivekananda Loksiksha Niketan saw the light of the day as an informal social reconstruction and change, being established in the year 1982. Slowly but steadily various milestones in its perilous journey toward the service of mankind are gradually crossed. Hats off to two brothers – Shri Sashadhar Maity and Shri Sushanta Maity for their remarkable sacrifice in the form of donation of 63 decimals of land such a landmark. The organization has also acquired further land at Faridpur, Contai town & Digha Tourist area and now possesses total land of 4.92 acres and several project building upon those. Another historical landmark glorifying to our organization is that we already crossed the significant milestone of our perilous journey of 30 years. During the year passed 2007-08, we celebrated its silver Jubilee festival to immemorate its significant success which will go on for year-long through various colourful programmes & welfare activities to fulfill the activities.
