Nesam Trust was established in the year on 27th October 2004. Social welfare organization for women and children to develop our society with all kinds of knowledge to bring out the skills and ability of women and children. We put our steps towards the 9th year and completed 8 years of successful on social welfare. NESAM Trust always takes interest in children’s development especially in their educ
ation. Nesam Trust arranged to sponsor note books, schoolbags, uniform dress and writing pads and instrument boxes to those students who were not able to afford to them. Total no of beneficiaries of the schemes were about 150 children from St.Marry’s high school, Gandhipuram, Coimbatore. We are also provide free education along with accommodation for the Tribal Children. NESAM Trust (Network) - SSA Residential School at Valparai. In tamil words we can say (Undu Uraivida Palli). We have nearly 63 childrens in that school. We have taken the special care for these children from the early morning they wake and till their sleep. The welfare measures were distributed to the students four times in the academic year on various occasions. As part of the sanitation programme, assistance for cleaning, repairing and construction the community and school toilets was provided to identified beneficiaries. in the month of July a community toilet in the slum area was taken up. An awareness programme on the importance of individual toilet system was conducted for the members of self help groups in the month of September. In the month of November monitory assistance was rendered to a government girl's school for construction of toilets. The work of cleaning water tanks in eight villages were under taken in January 2008. Protection of environment and nature was part of the agenda of Nesam Trust. An awareness programme on the importance of safeguarding the natural forest was conducted for the students of St.Mary’s high school at Gandhipuram in June 2007. About 100 students from higher classes were benefited through the programme In the month of October a tree planting programme was organized in association with MRM Foundation in the outskirt area of Coimbatore city. A residential area near Chinniampalayam was selected for the purpose arrangements were made with the residents welfare association and 100 saplings were planted in the street sides.
