What Is Damarugam All About?
Any change that's happened for betterment on this Earth has time and again proven to be a reflection of that one seed that would have touched the person’s early days of life. It could have been a piece of art, a movie, a song or anything that would have touched his/her soul; turning him./her onto a person seeking answers to the many things that surrounds them; trying to see life from a different perspective; trying to observe, question and take in things around them. More than all this, only a person who is able to love another being with no conditions whatsoever can bring about beautiful changes onto this world.
‘Damarugam’ wishes to be one such space for children. In today’s lifestyle when it has become a rarity for children to play with one another on the streets; to share moments together... Damarugam wishes to create that space bringing in children together; allowing them to explore the world of music, art, books, movie, nature, so forth and so on.......
Children’s are like those butterflies wanting to fly out of their captivity onto the free world, spreading out their wings and sprinkling colors as they go. We only need to let them be themselves and doing that is by itself offering them the biggest support. And ‘Damarugam’ in short wishes to be that space for them.
