Annai illam (OOTY Orphanage HOME ) Every girl has a story, every one a tragedy. But at this orphanage they are educated, cared for and loved.

The orphanage was founded in 1876 by Mother Mary of the Passion - a french Nun who went on to found the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in India. She was Beatified by Pope John Paul II on April 23rd 2002.
