Project Sugamya
Swarga Foundation, in association with Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore, proudly handed over 7 wheelchairs and 7 accessibility ramps to the Divisional Railway Manager of Salem Junction, Shri Panna Lal on July 4, 2026.

This initiative is dedicated to making railway travel smoother and more inclusive for persons with disabilities and senior citizens. These wheelchairs and ramps will be available at Station Manager cabins across Coimbatore, Tirupur, Salem, and Erode, ensuring help is always within reach.

A heartfelt thank you to the Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore for their unwavering support in driving accessibility forward. Together, we are not just donating equipment—we are enabling independence and inclusion.

Building Capacity. Creating Impact.

Swarga Foundation successfully organised an insightful workshop on Cerebral Palsy & Developmental Delay for a select group of physiotherapists at Sowkhya Pain Rehab Centre.

The session brought together leading experts who shared their knowledge and practical approaches to managing and supporting individuals with cerebral palsy:

From early intervention strategies to holistic care and rehabilitation, the workshop covered diverse perspectives on improving quality of life and empowering individuals with developmental challenges.

A Proud & Successful Milestone for Inclusion!

Swarga Foundation is delighted to share the successful inauguration of our accessibility and inclusion initiatives held today in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Minister for Backward Classes Thiru V. Sampath Kumar, District Collector Thiru Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar IAS, and Corporation Commissioner Thiru Katta Ravi Teja IAS.

Together, we launched four impactful initiatives:
• Sarathi – Wheelchair & senior citizen-friendly cab services across Tamil Nadu
• Swag Café – An inclusive café empowering persons with disabilities & conservancy workers
• Samarth – Distribution of wheelchairs to those in need
• Sugamya – Enhancing railway accessibility with cabin-friendly wheelchairs & ramps

Grateful for our incredible partners:
• Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore for supporting the donation of wheelchairs to Railways under Sugamya
• United Way Bengaluru for powering Swag Café and wheelchair distribution through Samarth
