Communities united. Children encouraged. Education prioritised.

Community-level awareness sessions were conducted across 36 villages under the Back to School Campaign to promote 100% enrolment and 100% retention of children in schools.

Led collectively by Balmanch groups, school authorities, and 3-tier PRI members, the initiative encouraged parents and communities to support children’s continued education and ensure readmission for the upcoming academic year.

Rallies conducted by Balmanch children further strengthened awareness on the importance of every child returning to school.

A Balanced Diet Awareness Programme was conducted at Thagachaguppe School to help children understand the importance of nutritious food for healthy growth and development.

Children learned about different food groups and healthy eating habits through interactive discussions and activities.

The Project Manager and volunteers also interacted with the children during the session and appreciated their participation and enthusiasm.

1,260 participants engaged. Stronger collaboration. Safer learning environments.

Joint consultative sessions were conducted across 36 villages with participation from Balmanch children, representatives of VLCPCs and SMCs, and 3-tier PRI members.

The discussions focused on creating safe and protective learning environments, addressing child labour, and strengthening positive alternatives that support children’s education and well-being.

The initiative also supported access to social protection schemes, helping 1,275 families benefit from services including housing schemes, Ayushman Cards, ration cards, educational scholarships, and other support programmes.

In collaboration with Wipro, a school kit assembly activity was conducted at Tidel Park, Wipro Campus, Coimbatore.

Children across communities were supported to access quality school education through continued engagement with teachers and improved access to shared learning resources.

Learning activities were conducted in lower and upper primary schools to strengthen academic understanding and participation among children.

Mobile libraries and shared academic learning materials helped encourage reading and continuous learning, while access to online educational content through e-tabs supported digital learning opportunities within Balmanch groups.

A focused awareness session on personal hygiene and Good Touch and Bad Touch was conducted at Thagachaguppe School and the surrounding community.

Children learned about handwashing, cleanliness, healthy daily habits, personal safety, and understanding body boundaries through interactive activities and discussions.

The session encouraged children to speak openly, recognise unsafe situations, and understand ways to respond safely and confidently.

3,536 participants reached. Greater awareness. Stronger support for education.

Mass awareness campaigns through folk media shows were conducted across 63 villages to highlight the importance of education and key social issues affecting children and adolescents.

The sessions focused on how continued access to education can help safeguard children from exploitation and support their overall well-being, especially encouraging girls to complete their 12th standard education.

Topics including child labour, child trafficking, child marriage, and the importance of social protection support were discussed through engaging folk performances and community interaction.

65 children participated. New learning. Greater confidence.

An awareness session for children was conducted at the Community Hall, Kunnathur with the support of Accenture volunteers.

The session included activities on tree plantation, savings, vocabulary building, quizzes, physical engagement, and individual skill development. Volunteers also shared personal experiences to encourage and inspire children.

Educational kits were distributed to all 65 participants, and sports kits were awarded to quiz competition winners.

Learning becomes more meaningful when children are encouraged to explore, participate, and grow with confidence.
