A two-day exposure visit to The Heritage School, Kolkata, a model of well-structured and effective inclusive education was successfully conducted under the Wipro Foundation’s MEAL (Making Education Accessible for All) Project.

The visit was joined by two key teachers each from our partner schools: Tuibuong Government High School, Happy Heart School, New Lamka Upper Primary School, Seilal Upper Primary School, Little Gems Academy, and V.K. Tawna High School, led by Inclusive Educators from the Centre for Community Initiative (CCI), Lamka, Manipur.

The experience was truly enriching, strengthening our understanding and capacity in inclusive practices. We witnessed firsthand how The Heritage School ensures that every child is valued, supported, and able to learn effectively.

Our heartfelt thanks to Principal Ma'am Seema Sapru, Ma'am Sheela Menon Mukherjee (Head of Department, Special Educational Needs), and Aloka Guha Ma’am for the guidance and insights.

We are also deeply grateful for the wonderful hospitality extended by the school.

Together, we continue to work toward creating learning spaces where every child thrives.
