The Chümoukedima Hindu Society, led by its President Shri Krishan Sharma, along with officials and advisors, convened a meeting to deliberate on the resumption of the Mandir construction work, which has remained on hold since July 2024.

The discussion focused on addressing the challenges faced and reaffirming the collective commitment to restart the project at the earliest. Mandir is not just a structure—it is a symbol of faith, unity and cultural strength—and its timely completion now stands as a collective commitment of the entire society.

The newly constituted team of Chümoukedima Hindu Society convened its first meeting today from 3:00 PM onwards at CHS President's Office Ward–4. During the meeting, various important agendas related to the functioning and future activities of the society were discussed.

On the occasion, the President congratulated all the newly inducted members and encouraged them to work with dedication and unity for the welfare and progress of the society. The meeting concluded with members sharing their suggestions and reaffirming their commitment to strengthen the organization.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞

It is with deep sorrow that we inform the sudden demise of 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛 (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐚) at Bengaluru today. Shri Arpan Deb was a very active and dedicated member, a senior leader of Chümoukedima Hindu Society, and also one of the founder members of Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland . His tireless efforts and selfless service have left a lasting legacy within our community.

In this moment of grief, we draw strength from the eternal words of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita:

“न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचित्। नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः। अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो। न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे॥”
(“For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. It has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. It is not slain when the body is slain.”)

Chümoukedima Hindu Society in collaboration with Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The event was graced by our esteemed special guest, Shri Rajesh Deb Treasurer, Maa Bhagwati Mandir Trust, Chümoukedima. A Motivational speech was delivered by Shri Pintu M Ghosh Chief-Advisor, Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland.The programme was ably chaired by Kumari Bunti Roy (Executive member CHYN)

The celebration was a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibility we hold as citizens.
