You and I Foundation Hooghly

You and I Foundation Hooghly You & I Foundation started its journey from July, 2005. We have also got the affiliation from ‘Nehru Yuva Kendra’, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Govt. of India.

Since then, it has endeavored to extend its outreach for the purpose of environmental conservation and awareness building. You & I Foundation Hooghly works in the field of alternative development programmes by developing peoples traditional know how in the field of environment, energy, climate change programme, sanitation & income generation through appropriate technology. The group gathered under

the umbrella of You & I Foundation Hooghly in the form of a society under West Bengal Societies Registration Act. The body comprises of University lecturers, Social scientists, Environmental experts, Management professionals and others from different professions along with school/college students. Our work mainly concentrated within Hooghly district in close co-operation with other voluntary organizations, community-based organizations, youth clubs and Self-Help Groups with the help from local bodies, government departments and agencies as well as people representatives.
