A Walk Down Memory Lane

Discipline, dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of practice—this photograph takes us back to the unforgettable days of the Road Safety Patrol (RSP) Final Parade of the 2002 batch.

The thrill of marching in perfect sync, the pride of representing our school, the excitement of competing with other schools, and the friendships forged along the way remain some of our most cherished memories. These experiences taught us lessons that extended far beyond the parade ground and continue to stay with us even today.

Back then, we thought the biggest problems in life were syllabus changes, 100-mark board exams, and adjusting to a PT uniform that lasted just one year. Little did we know, those “problems” would one day turn into memories we’d revisit with the biggest smiles.

From rushing through assignments to laughing in the corridors and creating friendships for life — the Batch of 2019 lived through moments that time can never replace.

Some chapters end, but school memories stay with us forever.

Some teachers never leave our memories—they become a part of who we are.

For every student of St. Ursula High School from the 80s and 90s, PT teacher Sawant Sir was one such unforgettable name.

Strict, disciplined, and tough on the outside… yet humble, kind, and soft at heart. His presence on the ground commanded respect, and his lessons went far beyond PT periods—they shaped character, discipline, and life itself.

A Retired Army Officer and Instructor from Army Physical Training Corps, Pune (Ramtekdi), Sawant Sir was a featherweight Services Boxer and also served as an instructor at the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, and Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

His dedication, values, and unmatched spirit left an unimaginable impact on generations of students.

Legends like Sawant Sir are not just remembered—they are cherished forever.

The SUEXSA Financial Awareness Session held last Sunday was an insightful and enriching experience for all attendees. Led by Mr. Pawan Gopinath, a seasoned expert with over 24 years in Financial Services and Co-Founder of AP Capital, the session offered valuable guidance on key aspects of finance, helping ex-students make more informed financial decisions.

It was truly a great learning opportunity, bringing our alumni community together to grow and evolve.
