संगम सेवालय द्वारा नि:शुल्क नेत्र चिकित्सा शिविर का सफल आयोजन

संगम सेवालय द्वारा समाज सेवा की अपनी परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाते हुए सद्गुरु नेत्र चिकित्सालय, चित्रकूट के सहयोग से एक नि:शुल्क नेत्र चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस शिविर का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण एवं शहरी क्षेत्रों के बच्चों, महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों को नेत्र संबंधी समस्याओं से मुक्त करना और दृष्टि संबंधी जागरूकता फैलाना था।

शिविर में सद्गुरु नेत्र चिकित्सालय की विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर टीम ने सैकड़ों बच्चों, महिलाओं एवं बुजुर्गों का नि:शुल्क नेत्र परीक्षण किया। जांच के दौरान कई लोगों में दृष्टि दोष, आँखों में जलन, मोतियाबिंद जैसी शुरुआती समस्याओं की पहचान की गई और उन्हें उचित परामर्श एवं उपचार की जानकारी दी गई।

शिविर की विशेष उपलब्धि यह रही कि 12 बच्चों को नि:शुल्क चश्मे उपलब्ध कराए गए, जिससे उनकी दृष्टि में सुधार होने के साथ-साथ पढ़ाई में भी मदद मिलेगी। इसके अलावा शिविर में उपस्थित अन्य लोगों को आँखों की देखभाल के लिए आवश्यक सुझाव और परहेज़ के उपाय बताए गए।

संगम सेवालय की संचालिका अंजू अवस्थी ने बताया कि संस्था का उद्देश्य समाज के हर वर्ग तक स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ पहुँचाना है, विशेषकर उन लोगों तक जो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर हैं। इस दिशा में संस्था निरंतर स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, पर्यावरण और जनजागरूकता से जुड़े अभियानों पर कार्य कर रही है।

संगम सेवालय ने सद्गुरु नेत्र चिकित्सालय की टीम का आभार व्यक्त किया और भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के स्वास्थ्य एवं नेत्र शिविरों का आयोजन नियमित रूप से करने का संकल्प लिया।

इस अवसर पर संस्था के पदाधिकारीगण, चिकित्सकगण, समाजसेवी एवं स्थानीय नागरिक उपस्थित रहे और शिविर की सफलता में अपना सक्रिय सहयोग प्रदान किया।

Sangam Sewalaya Distributes Educational Kits and Umbrellas at Kalaria Kua School near Kishore Sagar Talab

Chhatarpur, August 2, 2025 — In a heartfelt initiative, Sangam Sewalaya distributed educational kits and rain umbrellas to the students of Kalaria Kua School, located near Kishore Sagar Talab in Chhatarpur. The objective of this program was to ensure that children continue attending school regularly during the rainy season, without any obstacles, and have access to all the necessary learning materials.

The educational kits included — school bags, water bottles, tiffin boxes, pens, pencils, erasers, cutters, sketch colors, water colors, notebooks, and coloring books. As the children received their kits and umbrellas, joy lit up their faces, and the entire school atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and excitement.

The event was graced by notable members and social workers from Sangam Sewalaya:
Mr. Vipin Awasthi, Mrs. Anju Awasthi, Mr. Shankar Lal Soni, Mr. Deepu Chaturvedi, Mr. Lal Chand Lalwani, Mr. Prakash Jain, Mr. Dinesh Soni, and Mr. Vivek Tiwari. All dignitaries shared their thoughts and extended best wishes to the children.

Successful Workshop on "Women's Hygiene and Health" Organized by Sangam Sewalaya

On July 9, 2025, Sangam Sewalaya organized an awareness workshop on the topic of "Women's Hygiene and Health" at Narsinghpurwa, Ward No. 23. The primary objective of the workshop was to spread awareness among women and adolescent girls about menstrual hygiene, health, and safety.

During the program, sanitary pads were distributed free of cost to women, courtesy of the Unicharm company. The aim of this initiative was to raise awareness about hygiene among women in both rural and urban areas and to provide them with essential resources.

Several dignitaries and social workers, including Namrata Singh, Urmila Pateria, Rajkumari Kushwaha, Neeraj Dixit, and Shubham Patel, graced the occasion and shared their thoughts. They emphasized the need to prioritize women's health.

Representatives from Sangam Sewalaya stated that the organization is committed to addressing women's health-related issues and aims to raise awareness in society so that women can lead clean and dignified lives. The organization also expressed its intent to continue organizing such events regularly in the future.

Distribution of 1,000 Sanitary Pads and 500 Masks at District Hospital by Sangam Sewalaya – A Significant Initiative in Health and Hygiene

Today, under the aegis of Sangam Sewalaya, a special service program was organized at the District Hospital, Chhatarpur, during which 1,000 sanitary pads and 500 face masks, provided by Unicharm Company, were distributed free of cost. The objective of this event was to ensure hygiene and protection from infections for the hospitalized patients, their attendants, and healthcare workers.

Sanitary Pad Distribution and Hygiene Awareness Campaign Organized by Sangam Sewalaya at Kushwaha Settlement, Narayanpura Road

Dedicated to social welfare, the organization Sangam Sewalaya today conducted a free distribution of sanitary pads among women and adolescent girls at the Kushwaha settlement located on Narayanpura Road. The primary objective of this event was to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene among women living in rural and urban slum areas and to provide them with basic health-related information.

The program was led by the organization's director Mrs. Anju Awasthi and member Ms. Neetu Singh. During their interaction with the attendees, they emphasized the need to dispel myths related to menstruation, prevent diseases caused by poor hygiene, and overcome the social stigma associated with this natural process.

Mrs. Anju Awasthi stated:

> “For women, good health begins with hygiene. Even today, many women feel hesitant about discussing menstruation, which prevents them from taking proper care, leading to serious health issues. Our goal is to ensure that every woman speaks openly about this topic and takes care of herself.”

During the event, women were educated about the correct usage of sanitary napkins, proper disposal methods, and how to maintain personal hygiene during menstruation. A message was also conveyed to housewives and adolescent girls that by adopting hygiene practices, they not only protect themselves but also safeguard their families.

As part of this initiative, dozens of women and adolescent girls in the settlement were provided with sanitary pads, and they were encouraged to continue using them in the future.

This effort by Sangam Sewalaya marks another important step towards empowering women's health and dignity. The organization also plans to carry out similar campaigns in other settlements in the near future.

Sanitary Pad Distribution Program Conducted by Sangam Sewalaya on World Menstrual Hygiene Day

Chhatarpur, May 28, 2025:
On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Sangam Sewalaya organized a special awareness program in the village of Natpurwa to promote menstrual hygiene among women and adolescent girls. During the event, sanitary pads provided with the support of Unicharm Company were distributed free of cost.

On this occasion, Mrs. Anju Awasthi, Director of Sangam Sewalaya, said:
"Maintaining hygiene during menstruation is extremely important for women’s health. However, due to a lack of awareness and limited resources in rural areas, women are still hesitant to talk openly about this subject. Through Sangam Sewalaya, we aim to break this silence and work towards ensuring a safe and healthy life for every woman. We are grateful to Unicharm Company for their support, which has made our efforts more impactful."

During the program, Ms. Sunita Pathoriya, a member of Sangam Sewalaya, spoke about breaking taboos related to menstruation, maintaining hygiene, and the importance of using sanitary pads regularly. Women and adolescent girls participated enthusiastically in the event and gained valuable information.

Ms. Neetu Singh, another member of Sangam Sewalaya, shared:
"World Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed every year on May 28. Its aim is to end social taboos surrounding menstruation and to empower women and girls to live healthy, dignified, and hygienic lives."

Present at the program were Anju Awasthi, Sunita Pathoriya, Neetu Singh, Namrata Singh, Sitara, Reshma, and Rekha.

Under this initiative, hundreds of women were provided with free sanitary pads, which will help them maintain proper hygiene. This effort by Sangam Sewalaya is a significant step towards strengthening women’s health, dignity, and awareness.
