History is being written as Nikini Thelis proudly represents the voice of the girl child of Sri Lanka during the launch of the ShakthiSAT Mission in Sri Lanka.

Led by Space Kidz India, ShakthiSAT is the world’s first all-girls satellite mission, bringing together 12,000 young girls from 108 countries to learn, innovate, and contribute towards a specialized satellite journey to lunar orbit.

No matter how old we grow, there is always one voice that still feels like home “Have you eaten?”

A mother carries entire storms inside her and still becomes shelter for everyone else. She sacrifices quietly, loves endlessly, and stands beside us even when the world turns its back.

Behind every strong child is a woman who stayed awake through countless nights, hid her own pain behind a smile, and loved without conditions, without limits, without asking for anything in return.
