The Memorial Trophy conducted on December 24 was a tribute to Late Mr. C. N. Moorthy, a pioneer football coach who was instrumental in nurturing several talented young players.

The Under-14 5-a-side football tournament was organized in his honor and witnessed an excellent turnout, with several teams participating. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed chief guests, whose speeches served as a great source of motivation for the children.

We were also honored by the presence of Mr. C. N. Moorthy’s family members. It was a matter of immense pride for us to conduct this tournament in honor of a man who was a dynamic figure and made a significant impact on sports and the lives of many.

Congratulations to the winners and runners-up, and heartfelt thanks to all the teams for their participation.

We’re thrilled to share that one of our school hubs, Hindu Higher Secondary School, has won the Under-17 Zonal Championship conducted by the School Education Department!

This is a proud moment for all of us, as the school hadn’t won this title in more than 25 years. We took up the initiative and started the basketball project in 2022, and after three years of passion, dedication, and teamwork, the efforts have finally borne fruit. Hindu Hr Sec School broke the long spell and won the zonal championship and advanced to the district-level competition.

A big thank you to all the members and volunteers of Victory Sports Foundation (VSF), Sixers BC, Hindu School Alumni Association, School Management, coaches, well-wishers, and donors for making this success possible.
