NEWSS- Network is a cooperation of registered non- profit organizations/ NGOs from the 10 backward districts of Tamil Nadu namely – Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Salem, Dharmapuri, Karur, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddaalore and an UT of Pondicherry. Currently each district is represented by approximately 5 grass root level NGOs working for empowering the weaker sections of th
e society in their respective geographies. NEWSS primarily supports the member organizations with their capacity building needs, knowledge management, building contact base, guiding on legal compliance, facilitating concept notes/ proposal development, exploring donors for new opportunities and handholding on field implementation of development projects. Future plans include expansion of membership & voluntary services to more districts / states. Thanks!
