ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES – ACDS is a Non-Governmental Organization promoted by young development activists who are committed to work for the welfare and development downtrodden particularly with migrant families working in the quarries and crushers around Chennai. Then Chennai was fast growing city and getting large number of structural initiatives focused more for blue metal

and materials from nearby quarries. Thus large number families were migrant families from southern and western districts of Tamilnadu and they were employed in inhuman conditions.
