Established in 2007, the Madras Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group started with just two branches and quickly gained global recognition, earning an "Honorable Mention Award" for its outreach programs. Today, it thrives with twelve active branches, creating a vibrant network from school children to professionals. Our key achievements include:
- Global Recognition: Received the โ€œHonorable Men

tion for the Affinity Group of the Year Awardโ€ in 2007.
- Region 10 Impact: Launched the first Region 10 WIE Congress, inspiring a 50% increase in WIE affinity groups.
- Sangamam Project: A pioneering initiative transferring technology to rural areas, offering electronics education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship skills.
- STAR Program: Supports rural schools with presentations in Physics and Math.
