Have you ever come across any news paper ,TV news or social media without seeing an accident news? That may seem like a news to us as we are used to it. But for the victim’s family it’s a shock and a loss which words can't describe.
Definitely you would have puzzled what can you do to change this scenario. wouldn't you?
Then you've come to the right place where you can do that by joining along with our "Road Safety Warriors" who are doing the "Traffic Awareness Campaign" (TAC) for the past five years.
It all started when one of our friends saw a gruesome accident in OMR where a college student passed away on spot. And the team of “4 friends” decided to do an awareness camp for the public in the aim of transforming our country as an “Accident Free Nation”.
And the first ever campaign was held in T.Nagar signal , Chennai in 2013 holding awareness placards, explaining the commuters the importance of wearing helmets, seat belts and following traffic rules. Day by day the number of people involved in the campaign increased and now we have more than 3500 active volunteers who do campaigns at 36 areas every month across Tamil Nadu. And the way of our awareness impressed not only the public but also the “Chennai City Traffic Police” and we were able to see many positive changes among public. Our team was recognized many times for this work by the traffic department too .
Many individuals from the public also even joined us for the camps and many of our fellow NGOs are doing their part by creating awareness along with us for the betterment of the society.
Currently Weekly TACs are held every thurdsay morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM in

Thiruvanmiyur

Puzhudhivakkam
Weekend TACs are held every sunday evening from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in major signals like
T.Nagar
Ambattur
Vandaloor , etc.
