Uvagai Foundation conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Programme in collaboration with the CSR Club, Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai, focusing on creating awareness among students about the harmful effects and risks associated with drug use.

The programme, held on 05 July 2023 at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai, encouraged students to understand the consequences of substance abuse and make informed, responsible choices for a healthier future.

💙 Care Beyond Crisis. Supporting Our Elders.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Uvagai Foundation stepped forward to support the residents of “Abode of Joy,” an old age home caring for over 60 senior citizens.

The initiative focused on providing essential support and ensuring that our elders were cared for during a difficult time.

U vagai Foundation spent a meaningful day with the residents of Annai Karaikal Ammaiyar Shelter Home, Kolathur, sharing nutritious meals, conversations and moments of joy. This initiative was a heartfelt act of care and a reminder that small gestures can create meaningful impact. ❤️

The initiative also honoured Jana Krishnamurthy through an act of care on 30 October 2024.

🩸 Blood Donation | Giving Life Support

Uvagai Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the MSW Community Development Department of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, supported a Blood Donation Camp held on 19 December 2023 at the institute campus, Sriperumbudur.

The initiative brought together students, volunteers, and community members to support the vital need for blood and encourage a culture of care, participation, and service.

Every donation can become a source of hope for someone in need. ❤️
