The ILP Chennai team meeting, a three-day convening, brought together the team to collectively reflect on progress, celebrate achievements, and collaboratively shape the future of education and community impact.

The opening session set an inspiring tone as RAVI MANI, Board of Trustee at ILP, drew from his 25 years of experience to share heartfelt reflections on teamwork, resilience, and the invaluable lessons learned from overcoming challenges. Adding to this momentum, Padmaja Sathyamoorthy and Venki Venkatesh ILP US Chapter Leaders joined virtually to deliver a compelling keynote address emphasizing the importance of self-development, career growth through certifications, and broadening perspectives through diverse reading.

Another highlight was the perspective offered by Rangarajan Asoori Lakshmi Narasimhan, CEO, ILP who celebrated ILPโ€™s recent partnerships and awards while urging the team to focus on scaling efforts and addressing systemic challenges in education. Drawing inspiration from the movie 12th Fail, and Ted talk video by Karthik Muralidharan, he emphasized resilience, happiness, openness, and effective time management as crucial for driving meaningful change.

The visit to Amar Seva Sangam (ASSA) was a transformative experience for the team, highlighting what dedication and community-driven efforts can achieve. The co-founders, Ramakrishnan and Sankara Raman Srinivasan, shared how ASSA empowers individuals with disabilities through education, vocational training, and early intervention programs.

In the session "Attitude, Knowledge, and Skills: How to Equip Oneself Towards Changes and Stay Agile," Nayagam SP, Creator, Curator and Commander of Thirancare Solutions & Thirantree Academy emphasized resilience through a positive attitude, continuous learning, and skill enhancement.

The importance of ILP's Monitoring and Evaluation framework, crucial for progress tracking and meaningful impact assessments, was highlighted, with monitoring activities ensuring alignment with organizational goals and evaluations providing clarity on outcomes to shape future strategies.

The 3-day long reflections set the stage for scaling efforts and driving impactful change in education and community development.

The concept of child-friendly panchayats aims to create inclusive environments that prioritize children's needs and rights.

By encouraging active participation in decision-making and ensuring safe, accessible schools, these panchayats focus on holistic developmentโ€”fostering emotional, social, and physical well-being alongside academics.
