110 children in Malikpur village (Ajnala – Amritsar, Punjab) found hope and healing after the recent floods, thanks to Help A Child of India’s Psychosocial Support Programme! Our Child Friendly Space brought together young survivors, giving them a safe place to share, create, and rebuild their confidence.
From vibrant storytelling and art therapy to sessions on emotional resilience and safety, every moment made a difference. Children joined in peer activities, received vital protection awareness, and got individual counselling if needed—ensuring no one was left behind.
This transformative initiative was made possible by joining hands with the department of Psychology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Balbinder Singh and dedicated students whose guidance and engagement made each session impactful and ethically sound.
Psychosocial Support is essential in disaster relief. It restores emotional well-being, helps children process trauma, and empowers them to grow stronger, together.
Join hands with Help A Child of India in addressing the needs of the child and community in Malikpur. Reach out to us at [email protected] or WhatsApp - +91 8925967571

Future Scientists in the Making! 🌟
Pulianthope Project – Chennai

We’re thrilled to share the inspiring participation of girl students from the Child Education Excellence Project – Puliantoupe in a recent science exhibition! 👩‍🔬⚙️

Students from 6th and 7th standard created impressive science models on:
🔹 The Respiratory System
🔹 Electrical Circuits
🔹 Water Purification
🔹 Various Types of Human Habitations

They not only designed the models but confidently explained the concepts to fellow students and visitors — demonstrating remarkable clarity, curiosity, and confidence! 💬✨

🗣️ Miss. Sagaya Shirly, the project’s science teacher, shared:
“This project started just three months ago, and it’s amazing to see how well the students have picked up basic concepts. Their ability to explain these ideas clearly shows their commitment to learning and growing.”

“Breaking Free: Tackling Mobile Addiction in Children”
A powerful awareness session was conducted by Help a Child of India, where 34 children and 10 parents joined hands to understand the growing issue of mobile phone addiction among children.
Ms. Chaitali Ghosh, our expert resource person, shared deep insights into the harmful effects of prolonged screen time on children’s health, behavior, and overall development. She also provided practical tips for both children and parents to overcome this challenge — together.
From fostering screen-free family routines to using positive reinforcement techniques, parents learned how to actively engage in reducing screen dependence in a supportive, empowering way.
At Help a Child of India, we are deeply concerned about the mobile phone addiction and its long-term effects. Let’s work together to build a healthier, brighter future for our children.
Join us in our mission to protect and nurture young minds!

Education is the cornerstone of both personal and national growth—the key that unlocks countless opportunities.
In a country that takes immense pride in its rich culture, divine arts, and literature, knowledge has al-ways been revered as a fundamental pillar of its traditions
For many children, education is a pathway out of hardship—a chance to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
In Kolkata, Deep Halder, a Class 6 student, was forced to drop out of school due to financial hardships. But hope arrived through Help a Child of India -NGO and with the support of its Kolkata Child Development Project, Deep regained access to knowledge and tuition —paving the way for a brighter future.
When every child, hungry for knowledge, is given the opportunity to learn, we not only transform individual lives, but also our society as a whole. Imagine a future where no child is left behind—where knowledge empowers not just individuals but strengthens the very foundation of our nation.
Join hands with Help A Child Of India in reaching out our children for a bright future. For more details write to us mail-to:[email protected]
