Amritsar - Punjab
A new tuition centre has been inaugurated in Village Malakpur, Ajnala, by Amritsar Child Development (Help a Child of India, Chennai) to support children’s education after the August 2025 floods.

Pawan Masih highlighted the organisation’s commitment to holistic child development and the importance of continued learning support. Village leaders, including Mr. Baljinder Singh, Mr. Kuldeep Singh, and Mr. Daljit Kaur, expressed their appreciation for the initiative.

This centre aims to strengthen education and bring hope to children in the flood-affected community.

Bridging the Digital Divide: Empowering Children Through Technology
Ensuring our children are not left behind when it comes to information technology

Help A Child of India, through its Amritsar Child Development Project, proudly inaugurated a Computer Lab for underprivileged children, marking an important step toward digital inclusion and equal learning opportunities.

This initiative was made possible by the generous support of Mrs. Kulbir Kaur, whose contribution will enable children from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain essential computer skills and confidence in today’s digital world.

The Computer Lab was formally inaugurated by Mr. Mandeep Ahuja and Mr. Harpan Aujla, with a shared vision of strengthening digital literacy and expanding educational horizons for young learners.

The event was further honoured by the presence of Dr. Amarjit Singh (Medical Professor), Mrs. Rajinderpal Kaur (Punjab Istri Sabha), and Mr. Tarsem Singh (Local Leader), whose encouragement reinforces the collective commitment toward child development and education.

Nurturing Healthy Minds for a Stronger Tomorrow 🌱

At Help A Child of India, we believe that a child’s growth is not complete without mental and emotional well-being. As part of our ongoing commitment to the mental health of children and the community, we organized a Motivational Talk on Mental Health on 19th December 2025 at VOC Nagar, Pulianthope, Chennai, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Chennai Crown.

Dr. Harshavarthan, President of Lions Club of Chennai Crown, delivered an insightful keynote address focusing on emotional strength, mental wellness, and resilience. The session addressed teenage challenges, student stress, motivation, focus, digital wellness, and practical stress-management strategies.

An interactive Q&A session and student engagement activities made the program impactful, encouraging open conversations, confidence, and positive thinking among students and parents alike.

Through initiatives like these, Help A Child of India continues to work towards creating mentally resilient children and supportive communities—ensuring holistic development beyond education alone.

General Health Check-up Camp @ Child Education Excellence Project - Mathertala - Tollygaung - Kolkata. 25 children were screened for their health.
