On the occasion of the Centenary Year Celebration and World Thinking Day, Netaji Scout Group and Nivedita Guide Group has organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 22nd February 2026 at the Group Headquarters. The Chief Guest for the Programme was Dr.J.Chitra, CSS/ADMN/RH/PER and Presided by Shri.K.Kalisivarajan, AMM/Electrical/PER & District Secretary, PER District. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting humanitarian service and social responsibility among Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers, parents, and well-wishers. The event commenced with a brief inaugural session highlighting the significance of World Thinking Day and the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives. A medical team from Railway Hospital, Perambur supervised the donation process, ensuring all safety protocols and health guidelines were strictly followed. Donors were screened prior to donation, and proper post-donation care and refreshments were provided. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Scout and Guide movement and the local community. The initiative successfully collected a 29 units of blood, contributing to the welfare of patients in need. The event reflected the true spirit of Scouting and Guiding — service, unity, and commitment to society. The organizers expressed gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and medical staff for making the programme a grand success.
