Formerly known as 'Search For Thamana'

An Award-winning cause

Founded by (then) 15 year old Taha Fathima Khan, this was a search for Thamana: a 5-year-old girl who went missing from Marina Beach, Chennai on 11th May 2011. Thankfully, she was found 8 days later in GH, Chennai in good health. Thamana was a victim of kidnapping and suspected child-trafficking. She was saved by the attention that so

cial media (namely, this page) had stirred. Few children are as fortunate as Thamana. This fact is the the reason we need an open discourse about child rights. The open quotation mark, in our logo, signifies that the conversation (about child rights) must start NOW. We also strive to raise awareness about child-related crimes that impinge child rights, including abduction, child trafficking, child abuse, child labour, bullying (cyber and offline) etc. Join the cause to help increase awareness about children's rights and to support a safer world for children.
