July was full of exciting possibilities! Here's a glimpse into what we were upto last month...

For 14-year-old Sanjana, "home" used to feel silent and heavy. While she helped with chores in her village in Bihar, she quietly carried the weight of hidden tears, wishing for the affection and listening ear her busy parents couldn't seem to find.
The change began with a choice.
Sanjana’s parents joined the Parenting Program by HAC Foundation. Through six sessions, they learned that a home is built not only on hard work but also gentle communication, shared responsibilities, and emotional support.
Today, Sanjana’s reality has shifted:
Listening has replaced scolding.Laughter fills their shared meals. Belonging has replaced her loneliness.
"It didn’t just change their behavior; it changed my childhood." — Sanjana.

This World Family Day, we celebrate Sanjana’s family and the 2,220+ parents who have embraced positive parenting.

Clean hands truly are caring hands. 🤲✨
This World Hand Hygiene Day, we celebrate our "Health champs" and their wonderful families. There is something truly special about watching little ones not only learn to keep their hands clean,but eagerly teach others to do the same! HAC Foundation had the opportunity to bring mothers and their children together for practical demonstrations on handwashing and colouring activities on why hygiene matters. It is incredibly inspiring to see these them take these healthy habits back home, creating a ripple effect of wellness, love, and care throughout their families and our entire community.

“Guiding hands, nurturing hearts, shaping futures.” ✨

Teachers, the guiding force we know after our parents, are not only the ones who educate but also the ones who stand by our children in every step of their journey. In our community, teachers have gone beyond the classroom—becoming counsellors, mentors, and trusted companions. They have created a safe space where children can share their worries, seek guidance, and feel heard without hesitation.

Our teachers are not confined to the role of imparting knowledge alone. They nurture confidence, encourage curiosity, and shape character. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that education is not just about academics, but about wholesome development—emotional, social, and personal. 🌞 A summer to remember!

At HAC Foundation, we believe every child deserves a safe space to grow, laugh, and learn—and this summer camp was exactly that.

Organized right in the heart of the village, the camp brought together 60 Child Opportunity Centre (COC) children for days filled with fun, creativity, and learning. From games and storytelling to craftwork and music, every activity was designed to spark joy and build confidence.

With support from the community and guidance from resource persons, the camp became a beautiful reminder of what caring families and communities can do for children.

Because when children are surrounded by love, learning becomes play—and every child feels seen and valued.
