Aruwe was started in 1993, with the purpose of working towards the well-being of those on the margin of urban and rural development and growth. en helpless and uncared for on the streets, were helped. Subsequently, our work also started focusing on children and women. In the year 2000, Aruwe entered a new phase of its existence with its registration as a Public Charitable Trust. Today, it continues being run by a group of committed Social Work Professionals and a network of motivated volunteers, who are concerned about the welfare of the elderly destitute, deprived children and distressed women.
