After 11 years of unwavering dedication, deep inquiry, and relentless pursuit of knowledge, our dear friend, long-time colleague, and extraordinary visionary Jayachandran has earned his Ph.D. from IIIT Hyderabad. This is not just an academic milestone — it marks the culmination of a journey that merges scholarship, innovation, and artistic wisdom.
The fruit of his research is a pioneering holistic dance pedagogy tool for Beginners — a remarkable resource not only for practitioners of the form but also for those seeking to understand the deeper nuances of movement itself, within and beyond the Indian classical framework.
Jayachandran is truly a scholar par excellence — a rare genius whose work continually elevates the way we experience and teach the arts. We feel incredibly privileged to have known him, shared space with him, and collaborated closely over the years in our dance journeys.
