Aavaa Dingi 2026 Inclusive Drawing & Painting Competition – A Celebration of Creativity, Inclusion & Awareness

The Aavaa Dingi 2026 Drawing Competition, held on 04 July 2026 at IIT Madras, Chennai, marked the successful beginning of the journey towards Aavaa Dingi – The International Inclusive Music & Dance Festival 2026. The competition was organized as an awareness initiative with the inspiring themes of Aavaa Dingi, Inclusivity, and Differently-Abled People, encouraging participants to express the values of equality, acceptance, and inclusion through art.

The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 700+ contestants, parents, art workers and volunteers ranging from 4-year-old children to adults (18+ years). We were especially delighted to see special children actively participating alongside other contestants, truly reflecting the spirit of an inclusive platform where talent knows no barriers. Every artwork beautifully conveyed creativity, compassion, and the vision of a more inclusive society.

The Top 3 winners from each category will be announced and felicitated during Aavaa Dingi 2026 – International Inclusive Music & Dance Festival, to be held on 02 August 2026, where they will receive their awards and recognition.

One of the greatest achievements of the competition was the awareness it created among participants and their families. The event inspired children, parents, and visitors to better understand and appreciate inclusivity, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who attended.

From the bottom of my heart: Just one month to go!

The journey began in 2017—and now, as we stand in 2026, it has been almost ten years of walking through fire and faith. It has not been easy—not even for a moment. Behind every milestone lies a story of struggle, sacrifice, tears, and unyielding belief. There were times when the path seemed invisible, when support was scarce, when doors closed without reason, and when the weight of doubt—both from within and from the world—felt overwhelming.

And yet, we kept moving.

What started as a vision has now become a growing community—hearts coming together, lives being transformed, voices once unheard now finding expression. The challenges have not disappeared; in fact, they have only grown stronger. This year, the battles are unlike anything we have faced before—so deep, so complex, that words fall short of explaining them.

But even in the midst of it all, something greater rises.

Hope is rising. Faith is rising. Purpose is rising.

Because this was never just an initiative—it is a calling. And the vision continues to burn brighter than every obstacle placed in its path. It is this vision that carries us forward, when strength feels weak, when answers are unclear, and when the journey feels too heavy to bear.

We are still here. We are still moving. And we are not stopping.

From a Visionary
