Sri Gayatri Charitable Trust, is located in the Perambur, is a charitable foundation started in the year 1997 by enthusiastic few men who were highly focused on social service activities and dedicated to helping those in need. Sri Gayatri charitable trust was started in the year 1997 focusing on social service activities such as building home for the aged and catering to the needs of the affluent
and less fortunate. In the field of Education the Trust has been giving financial assistance to the needy school going children and also providing them with School Uniforms. Gowri Muthuswamy Vriddhasramam a Home for Senior Citizen in New Perungalathur is functioning from 2012. Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Rao Vriddhasramam a Home for Senior Citizens, a welfare project of Sri Gayatri Charitable Trust is under construction at Manavur. The essential requirements of electricity and water supply have been provided for, and we are hopeful of having the inmates very soon.
