A group of students with social interest, joined different IT firms across Chennai. They wanted to spend their birthdays with kids for whom celebration is a once-in-a-while happening. That is how we started visiting homes. During that process, we found that there are homes and trusts, which doesn’t even have the basic amenities for the kids. They just had the generous heart to take care of the kid
s despite the financial and facility constraints. That is when we decided to identify such homes in and around Chennai and provide them with possible help from our side. We make sure that the money and sodexo passes we collect actually reach those kids. Starting from our first visit in January 2010 till date, we collect the requirements of homes and do our best to meet them on a monthly basis. We have also made some effective contribution for education of kids. What makes us different? Charity comes from within. Till date, we have not or went in search of sponsors or so. We keep our activities posted and people who voluntarily come out to help us, support us in terms of money, helping in organizing, identifying homes and giving requirements and the simplest of all – Spreading the word.
