Subhas Scout Group Welcome to the official facebook handle of Subhas Scout Group, ICF District, Southern Railway State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

SUBHAS Scout Group is one of the Oldest Group till date in ICF Dist and a very Actively participating Group of the Southern Railway State Bharat Scouts and Guides. Our Group was Officially announced and inaugurated on our "Bravers' Day" 13th of May 1971. We are celebrating our year Anniversary every year as "Bravers' Day". We have produced many Golden Arrow CUBS, Rashtrapathi Scouts, Rashtrapathi

Rovers as well as many Eminent Leaders. Nowadays our group is actively performing in many activities such as Awareness Programs, Energy Conservation, Community Development, etc.... We will not give up anytime, whether it is a Competition or an Activity. Last but not the least SUBHAS Scout Group has reached its heights and heading above to a Successful Future.

🌍📡 JOTA­–JOTI 2025 🎉
Over 25 Scouts & Guides from the Subhas Scout Group and the M.S. Subbulakshmi Guide Group came together on 18 October 2025 at ICF DHQ to experience the power of global connection, online adventure and Scouting camaraderie.

✨ We kicked off with a deep-dive through a vibrant PowerPoint on “What is JOTA-JOTI?” — how the event began, why it matters and how it brings Scouts & Guides worldwide onto one digital platform.
💡 A quiz added sparkle as participants tested their knowledge fresh from the slides.
🌐 Then came the fun! Split into three dynamic teams, everyone rotated through three “bases”:

1. Online chat hub — connecting in real-time across screens

2. Exploring the global JOTA-JOTI website — uncovering resources, challenges & links

3. Digital Scouting activity base — where teamwork met tech!

In the spirit of international Scouting tradition, we shared laughter, learned new skills and tapped into the global network of young explorers. Let’s keep the connections alive! 🔗

As part of Scout Guide Week Celebration 2024, we Subhas Scout Group and M.S.Subbulakshmi Guide Group conducted workshop on knots and outdoor survival and other scouting skills as part of Celebration Day 07 "Skill and innovation day" on the theme "Empowering youth through innovation " on 09.11.2024.
