The Indian Federation of Culinary Associations is a nodal body of culinary professionals in India and is an independent, apolitical, non-religious and voluntary organisation of culinary professionals. IFCA was formed with idea of developing the culinary profession and to showcase Indian cuisine on the Global platform. IFCA hopes to promote culinary knowledge and propagate various kinds of food and bring obscure culinary styles and practices to the forefront.

IFCA Quarterly Assessment – Culinary Batch 9 & 10
The 3rd Quarterly Assessment for Batch 9 and 10 at the Department of Culinary Arts, ITI Kaushal College, Ranchi, commenced on 27th February 2028 in collaboration with the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA). The initiative continues to empower underprivileged girls through skill-based culinary education and sustainable career opportunities.
Expert Panel:
• Chef Sudhakar N. Rao – Director, Culinary Academy of India, Hyderabad
• Chef Rajesh Nair – Director, Bangalore Culinary Academy, Bengaluru
Assessment Highlights:
Batch 9 underwent an industry-oriented evaluation focusing on technical skills, hygiene, mise en place, time management, presentation, and flavor balance.
Students showcased their expertise in:
• Indian Cuisine (Curry, Halwai, Tandoor)
• South Indian Breakfast
• Continental Cuisine
