SJK Charitable Trust, a Registered Trust established at Chennai, India, in collaboration with various organizations of similar aims and objectives have jointly started a program of converting "Street Children to School Children" by providing Education through Moral, Curricular & Co-Curricular Activities. Along with S.K's Welfare Centre, we have appointed additional teachers, provided notebooks, ad
ded nutrition to noon meals, and provided teaching of tailoring, typewriting and computer to the students and their parents. S.K's Community College has started Montessori Teacher Asst. courses for the school dropout’s girls. We are also providing these children with free boarding, giving monthly old age pension and offering school fees and marriage assistance in and around the areas of adopted schools, which were the basic factors for the significant development in student strength. Apart from this we are also contributing towards Healthcare in rural areas. The income for this project is minimal and therefore we appeal to the Philanthropists to kindly donate liberally towards the annual sponsorship of inmates to meet the expenses for running these schools and to construct new Class Rooms with Furniture. We also request you to come forward and join with us in this challenging task for the sake of poor, orphan, destitute children and senior citizens, to comfort and bring them up on sound footing.
