🌱 Growing a Greener Tomorrow! 🌿

The spirit of environmental responsibility came alive as the Equinity Group organised a sapling plantation initiative at the Government Children’s Home for Girls and Government Observation Home for Boys, Kellys, Chennai.

It was heartwarming to see Equinity employees enthusiastically participate in this meaningful initiative, planting saplings and taking a step towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable future. 🌳💚

Dr John Joseph Foundation is delighted to partner with Equinity Group in facilitating this initiative and creating opportunities for corporate employees to contribute meaningfully to the community.

Akshayam Feeding Project Update! ❤️

Location: Samidaspuram, Aspiran Garden

This month, around 50 kids received food packets with love. Heartfelt thanks to our Trustee,
Mrs.Ajitha Nair, for sponsoring this month's feeding.

Akshayam is our monthly feeding initiative, reaching different communities across Chennai.

We were not able to conduct the Akshayam project for the past few months due to lack of funding. We are happy to have resumed it this month.

*Therapeutic Intervention Program | Edu ONE Project Update*
*Govt. Children Home for Girls, Kellys, Chennai - 10*

🩵Empowering girls through skills.

With support from the Department of Children Welfare & Special Services, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, we conducted 3 skill-based courses for the girls placed here through the Child Welfare Committee as part of our *Edu ONE* initiative:

💄 *Advanced Beautician*
🎨 *Handicrafts*
🥻 *Saree Draping*

This program is helping the girls master practical skills and build confidence for their future.

Today, our trainers completed the assessments and certificates were distributed to the girls.

We were honored to have the Superintendent, our trainers, and the President of Dr. John Joseph Foundation presides over the event.🩵

We are overjoyed to share a proud milestone from our Project AHAVA Children’s Home.

Manish, a child who came under our care and protection, has become the first boy to receive continuous educational support from 1st Standard all the way to his Undergraduate degree. Today, he has successfully completed his B.Com Corporate Secretaryship from Loyola College Chennai with First Class and Distinction.

This achievement is not just Manish’s success — it is a testimony to resilience, hope, and the power of collective support. Watching him grow into a confident young graduate fills our hearts with immense pride and gratitude.

We sincerely thank every individual who has supported our projects over the years. Your contributions directly impact the lives of underprivileged children, helping them dream beyond their circumstances and build a brighter future.

Together, let us continue to make this world a better place for children by ensuring they receive equal opportunities, quality education, and the encouragement they deserve.

Wishing my beloved Amma and the President of the Dr. John Joseph Foundation a very Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️

My beloved Amma came to Chennai with dreams of building a beautiful life with her husband and her little 6-month-old baby — me. Little did she know that life would take a painful turn, leaving her abandoned and disowned, with no idea how to face the future.

Yet, she never gave up. To provide food and shelter for me, she worked as a domestic worker, carrying immense pain and responsibility with unmatched strength, courage, and dignity.

In our darkest phase, God sent a Good Samaritan — Dr. John Joseph — who gave us shelter, food, and ensured that I received the best education. I have witnessed every hardship and struggle my Amma endured to make me the person I am today.

Today, seeing my mother rise from being a maid to becoming the President of the Foundation is nothing short of inspiring. She continues to be the strength and blessing behind every project and every child we support through the Foundation.

Thank you, Amma, for your sacrifices, prayers, resilience, and unconditional love. Everything I am today is because of you.

Happy Mother’s Day, Amma! 🌸❤️

Joy of Partnering 2026 - yet another successful event. Huge appreciations to Ramesh R for all the effort put into this event. You really rocked bro!

Some amazing personalities Rajesh Swaminathan Abishek Lakshmipathy Sivakumar Krishnamurthy Babu Thomas and Dr Ganesh Krish were present and their insights were so encouraging to the foundation.

Our thanks to Dr Ushanandini, Member Tamil Nadu Child rights Commission for accepting our invitation and being part of this event as our Chief guest.
