*Geriatric Medical Camp*
Poornatha Foundation has successfully implemented its first medical camp for the elderly in Perungudi, Chennai as part of Silver Care initiative on 11 Sept 2026.
Dr.Abhishek Sriram from Madras Medical college examined the elders’ blood pressure and blood sugar levels and supplied essential medicines The volunteers of The New LEED Trust and MSSRF mobilised the elders from the community and the staff helped in managing the camp site. Refreshments were served to the participants.
Poornatha Foundation would take this opportunity to thank Medimix company, the funder and The New LEED Trust members for their collaboration in taking forward the silver care initiative in Chennai. Special thanks to
Elijah for his valuable support in organising the camp.

The New LEED Trust supports the less privileged with Skill Development Training Programs such as Skill Development Training Programs in Tailoring and Basket, making for the needy in its Perungudi Project office It also helps the trained women to get a dignified income . The New LEED is proud to congratulate our new black belts (5th and 6th from our LEED Dojo students - Gokulnath & Ranjitha Nayak who took test on 7th June 2026 at Honbu Dojo,) trained in LEED Dojo (Karate school) under International Okinawan Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Do of India- accredited by Karate India Organization (KIO) under the leadership of kyoshi Ratnapala and Sensei Sarathy.
