A single decision has the power to save multiple lives.
On Indian National Organ Donation Day, the Indian Association for Transplant Coordinators (IATC) joins the nation in spreading awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. This day is observed on 3rd August to commemorate India's first successful deceased-donor heart transplant, performed on 3rd August 1994—a landmark achievement that paved the way for deceased organ donation and transplantation in our country.
Every donor leaves behind a legacy of hope by giving others a second chance at life.
