Way back in 2012-13, we worked with a team of women to build a toilet complex - yes, an eco San model with space for women to set up small business units and making the place stigma free for women to walk in, use toilets (whenever they wish to), sit and chat with fellow women entrepreneurs, make an earning, maintain the toilet... It was a circular economy model!
About 12+ women came forward in Aug 2012, and we trained them to make compressed mud blocks and finally these three women stood firm against all odds of women learning and being involved in building toilets. Very worthwhile experience that we can resonate very well with our core belief *of building local Communities and empowering them to explore opportunities to address their own needs...*
