A New Chapter Begins at Rotary Club of Chennai IT City!

With heartfelt gratitude, we thank our Immediate Past President, Rtn. Rewins Raj, for his exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and the remarkable impact he created during his tenure. His vision and commitment have laid a strong foundation for the club's continued growth and service.

As we celebrate our Installation Ceremony, we proudly welcome our new President, Rtn. Sundararaman, and our Secretary, Rtn. Sudha Cannan, as they take on the responsibility of leading the club into an exciting new chapter.

We are especially honored by the gracious presence of our District Governor, Rtn. Shriram Duvvuri, whose inspiring words and encouragement made the occasion even more memorable.

With renewed energy, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to Service Above Self, we look forward to another year of meaningful service projects, stronger fellowship, and greater community impact.

Ever wondered the life of toddlers and young children who have to live with HIV for no fault of theirs?

Rotary Club of Chennai IT City, along with the international partner RC of Canton, MI, USA, as part of Global Grant project is providing HIV detection equipment to the NGO YRG Care ( YR Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education) in Chennai focusing on helping HIV affected children and their families.

Rotary International is certified by Charity Navigator four stars the highest for credibility, accountability, transparency and full utilisation of funds for the beneficiary.

Our Global Grant Steering Team visited our partner's, YRG Care's, facility at Chetpet. This was to formally inform them of the Global Grant approval, and to discuss the next steps on project implementation. YRG team, headed by their CEO Krishnan, anchored this interactive session, which was followed by our monthly Nutritional Hampers distribution and a tour of the facility.

Project cost is about USD 40,000/- most of it is funded by the club members and friends. We invite Rotarians and philanthropists also to join us in this initiative. We will respond with further details on hearing from you.

Arivarangam was more than a district learning event — it was an experience.
