Nochikuppam Fishers on Hunger Strike
Traditional fisherfolk are urging CM Vijay to act now:
1. Restore fisher-folk's right to continue fish vending along the Loop Road edges — in their traditional beach livelihood spaces.
2. Declare traditional beach livelihood areas as Protected Fishing Livelihood Zones.
3. Build a community hall and fisheries infrastructure at the current Nochikuppam Modern Fish Market site.
