On Sunday, 21st June, activists organised Circle of Justice outreaches at Anna Nagar Tower Park (Chennai) and Indiranagar (Bengaluru).

They displayed video footage of animal exploitation on their devices, and used it to initiate conversations about the systemic oppression of non-human animals. The footage, paired with the conversation that followed, highlighted the gravity and urgency of the issue.

National Animal Rights Day was held in Chennai on June 7th, standing alongside over 95 cities across the world in a united voice for animals.

This is not just a memorial.

It is a reckoning.

A moment to honor the billions of lives lost to systems built on silence, and a refusal to let that silence continue. Their lives mattered. Their suffering was real. And their voices—once ignored—are now rising through ours.

We gather not only to remember, but to resist.
To challenge the normalcy of exploitation.
To declare that compassion is no longer optional.

They were never just numbers.
And they will never be forgotten.

With this inauguration, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening efforts to make animal rights a mainstream issue and to work toward true liberation for animals.

Your participation matters because we are their voice.

With this, we also commit to conducting regular outreach and lectures across the city.
