ABOUT the ARTIST:
Aishwarya Verma, founder and artistic director of Aaharyam Nrityasaala Dance Foundational and Educational Trust for over 12 years. She is a professionally trained kathak dancer has been dancing since the age of 5. She started her initial training in Kathak with Ms. Shakti Singh and then later continued her professional training under the able guidance of Pt. Rajendra Gangani, Guru Prerna Shrimali and Ms. Gauri Diwakar. Performed Nationally and Internationally on various theatres, dance
festivals etc. Former Kathak Artist in the Indian Musical Broadway 'Mughal-e-azam'.

Sangeet Praveen in kathak, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagrai. Doordarshan Graded Artist and S**c Macay empanelled artist. She has performed for more than 15 years and has over 25 years of experience in this art form.

Gentle Reminder:

We are still accepting stories from everyone who has a story to tell about their time in nature within Chennai city.

There is no age restriction, anyone can submit.

Entries in both Tamil and English are welcome.

We read every single story that is submitted to us. And we are very much looking forward to more of you participating in this unique public open call.

We asked for stories and we are so thrilled at the response so far. Right now, we are aiming for at least a 100 stories, and each person can submit up to 3.

Here's some clarifications for those who asked:
- We only reveal your name if you expressly give your permission. Otherwise, we use a pseudonym.
- Yes, we read EVERY SINGLE STORY. We want the best selection, so we do the due diligence.
- One submission per person is the limit.
- Yes, the form allows you to edit before submitting.

Help us hit our targets of 100 stories by the deadline: 31st May 2026!
