The student council elections for the posts of School Pupil Leader, Sports Captain, and the House Captains for the three houses were successfully conducted on 25th June. Leading up to the vote, candidates were given the opportunity to campaign by addressing both the staff and the student body during the morning assembly and the break period. The election itself was carried out via a strictly managed secret ballot system. Class teachers wrote the names of the contesting candidates on the board, and students cast their choices by writing them on voting slips before dropping them into the ballot boxes provided in the voting booth. The students approached the polling booth in a highly orderly manner, with some even enthusiastically requesting their fingers to be marked with ink to prove they had voted. Demonstrating an inclusive community effort, the final vote count also saw active participation from the school staff, support staff, and the Beyond Prayaas team. The event concluded successfully without any disruptions. The election not only finalized the student council leadership but also served as an excellent practical lesson in civic responsibility and governance for the entire school.
