Until it starts showing up as fear, anxiety, or withdrawal.
Some children speak up. Many don’t.

Recently, even the Supreme Court had to step in with directives on student safety. A reminder that bullying is not just a phase. It has real consequences on young lives.

Through The Kindness Campaign, a movement by SStraight Circles Foundation, we are working with educational institutions and communities to create spaces where young people feel safer, heard, and supported.

SStraight Circles Foundation x AWARE India recently hosted a Child Safety Awareness Program at Jeevadhanam, beginning with one important question:
How do children recognise bullying and respond to it with confidence?

Through role-play, emotional self-defence statements and guided conversations, children learned how to stand up for themselves and others without fear.

This session also aligned with our Kindness Campaign, where we encourage young people to choose empathy, speak up against bullying and create safer spaces for one another.

Along with bullying, they also explored:
✨ Safe vs unsafe touch
✨ How to identify a trusted adult
✨ What to do during emergencies
✨ How to help another child in distress

Their curiosity and confidence turned the room into a space where children felt safe, heard and empowered 💛
