To provide a forum for members of the Association for interaction and to sustain a sense of belonging amongst the members of the Association with Institute through mutually beneficial contacts. To facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute towards improvements in the status of the institute in areas pertaining to academics, infrastructure, industry interactions and any other area that the alumn
i and the institute feel appropriate. c. To provide avenues for drawing upon the knowledge and expertise of the alumni for furthering the cause of the Institute as a leading Center of Excellence. d. To foster linkages amongst the alumni and to promote personal and friendly relations through meetings and get-togethers among members of the Association. e. To collect, publish and distribute such information as may be useful to members of the Association. f. To undertake all such activities as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and objectives. g. To render assistance to students of the institute through grants, scholarships and prizes and to provide assistance in academics, placement or in any other area that is felt as appropriate by the association and the institute. h. To create and use means and opportunities to foster friendship and brother hood among the passed out students of the institute. i. To create and use means and opportunities to establish and maintain a common link with the institute. j. To share the experience, Knowledge and contacts of the pass out students of the institute among themselves and with the students of the institute. k. To provide legitimate help to the students of the institute to get suitable placements. l. To help the institute to enhance its capabilities and teaching strengths by providing supports of Finance, knowledge, experience contacts. m. To encourage students, teaching and non teaching staff of the institute of the institute to excel by initiating competitions, seminars, exhibitions, workshops, tours, scholarships, sponsorships, financial aid, contributions of our own time and services or sponsored services and legitimate help and support of any other type. n. To offer and help in providing visiting faculty to the institute at our costs. o. To offer and initiate any research project related to chemical engineering and technology or conduct search and surveys of general interest related to teaching of Chemical engineering or chemical industry and education. p. To create knowledge and experience bank, sharable among members and chemical industry and profession. q. To establish discussion forums among members, technical or non technical, on the issues related to chemical industry, Chemical engineering education and research, environment, safety and health care. r. To establish discussion forum for creating awareness in society about the use of chemicals of any kind by contributing towards print, e-media and electronic media or any other media or channel of mass communication. s. To create/ produce media of mass communication to bring in awareness among masses towards the use of chemicals and chemical technology and research for the welfare of people and environment. t. To create a platform/ forum for sharing and transfer of knowledge and technology. u. To initiate any fund to pursue and fulfill the aims and objectives of the association. v. To own, buy or hire any tangible or non tangible assets to pursue or full fill the aims and objectives of the association. w. To hire and pay any out side agency to pursue or full fill the aims and objectives of the association. x. To create job bank for members and students. y. To promote recreational activities among members to enhance friendship and togetherness. z. To promote the cause of the association.
