SHRS was founded with a vision to impact positively those sections of society which are often not given enough space to grow. We have worked for children with special needs, making them and their near ones aware of their potential. This is achieved through intervention on many levels like counseling, skills assessment and subsequently imparting relevant training. Women empowerment through skill an

d livelihood development is also integral to our work. Without confident and happy women our nation will only be half strong. This initiative is led by Government College, Barwala (Principal Prof. Hemant Verma, coordinated by Dr. Shubha) under the Happiness Lab and Goodwill Cabinet, in partnership with Safe Hands Rehabilitation Society and Lions Club Zirakpur Elite.
