To the mothers.
To the father’s learning softness with one school tiffin and many bedtime stories..
To grandparents, guardians, siblings, single parents, and every heart doing the quiet work of raising a child.

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who has ever mothered someone…

Not by title.
By care.
By showing up even when tired.
By remembering water bottles, bad dreams, tiny victories, and impossible days.

Some people give life.
Some people hold it together.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone 🎈✨

Some journeys carry more than just luggage. They carry stories, values, and quiet intentions that travel far beyond borders.

We feel deeply honoured that Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Dean, Faculty of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, chose to visit our workshop and pick pieces to accompany her on her upcoming journey under the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Award 2025–26.

As she prepares to engage with universities across the United States, it means the world to us that the gifts she carries forward are not just objects, but reflections of craft, culture, and conscious choice.

At our core, we are a social enterprise built on the belief that what we create should matter, to the maker, to the user, and to the world it moves through. When individuals across fields like education, law, medicine, public service, choose us, they become more than patrons. They become quiet ambassadors of mindful living.

To travel with intention.
To gift with meaning.
To choose stories over things.

We remain grateful for every such moment where our work becomes part of a larger purpose.

Five years. Same bag. Still showing up like it owns the room.

“Fast fashion” could never. This one aged like a stubborn legend that refuses to retire.

Dr. Nancy didn’t just buy a bag… she accidentally signed up for a long-term relationship. No drama, no breakdowns, just quiet strength doing its thing, day after day.

Proof that when something is made with care, it doesn’t chase trends… it outlives them.

No machines.
No shortcuts.

March came in quietly… and left us with full hands and fuller hearts.

From entering new shelves across Chandigarh to filling our workshop with the rhythm of 2000 gutthis, potlis, bookmarks, and stories in the making, this month felt like movement. Real, tangible movement.

There were moments of scale— bulk orders, buzzing tables, deadlines humming in the background

And moments of stillness— Shagun aunty at her loom, Madan uncle passing on a craft, a frame stitched for an 80th birthday

Somewhere in between, we stepped out together.
Three days in Mathura-Vrindavan. No production targets, just people.

This is what March looked like for us:
Hands at work. Hearts in it. Always.

Which moment stayed with you?

CSA ORIGINALS
EP 1: Panja Dari Weaving

There is a rhythm to this work.
Not loud enough to hear,
but steady enough to stay.

Threads stretched.
Hands moving back and forth.
A quiet conversation between warp and weft.

Long before it became what you carry today,
dari weaving lived on the floor of homes, woven by women,
for everyday life.

Its name comes from darree, a simple floor covering.
But there is nothing simple about the time it holds.

Days that turn into weeks.
Threads pulled tight.
Colours settling into place.
Nothing rushed. Nothing repeated the same way twice.

And somewhere in between,
a pattern begins to emerge.

Not perfect.
Just honest.

At CSA, this weave travels from floors to totes, to sleeves,
to pieces you wear and gift and keep close.

The form changes.
The hands don’t.

So when you hold it,
you’re not just holding a product.
You’re holding time,
patience,
and a story that chose to stay.

Save this. Come back to it.
