To Colonel Gurkirat Singh Nagra and the PRC Mohali Team,

On behalf of the Wheelchair Sports Society, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Colonel Gurkirat Singh Nagra and the entire PRC Mohali team for your full and unwavering support towards wheelchair sports. With your backing, Punjab has achieved incredible success, securing two trophies in just five monthsโ€”one in the T10 Wheelchair Cricket League and the other in Wheelchair Basketball.

This success is the result not only of your support but also the hard work and dedication of our captainsโ€”Latief Bhat, leading the wheelchair basketball team, and Veer, leading the wheelchair cricket team. Their efforts, along with their teams, have truly shown what can be accomplished with strong leadership and the right support.

Your contribution demonstrates the profound impact that a single institution can have. If more organizations and companies step forward to provide the same level of support, we could elevate our performance and significantly improve the lives of our players, both on and off the field. With broader backing, we can unlock even more potential and offer greater opportunities for athletes to thrive.

Thank you once again for your continuous support, and we hope others will be inspired by your leadership.

Sincerely,
Wheelchair Sports Society

๐Ÿ *CM Trophy T20 Wheelchair Cricket - Match Update*๐Ÿ

*Punjab vs. Andhra Pradesh*

Andhra Pradesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. Team Punjab had a decent start, losing their first wicket at 36. Captain Veer Sandhu scored 20 runs off 19 balls. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting lineup struggled, and Punjab managed to set a target of just 70 runs for 8 wickets in 15 overs. Vikram contributed 15 runs off 22 balls, with no other batter reaching double digits.

Despite the low total, Punjab's bowlers put up a stellar performance. Special mention to Raja, who delivered an extraordinary spell, taking 4 wickets in one over, including a hat-trick on the first three balls. Raja finished with figures of 3 overs, 1 maiden, 10 runs, and 5 wickets. Vicky Golna also impressed with 3 overs, 13 runs, and 2 wickets. Vikram contributed 1 over, 10 runs, and 1 wicket. Praveen Jassa bowled a tight spell of 3 overs, conceding just 7 runs, helping Punjab restrict Andhra Pradesh to 62 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Thanks to Raja's incredible bowling performance, Punjab secured a thrilling victory! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ†

Stay tuned for more updates and follow our journey through the CM Trophy! ๐Ÿ’ช
