RENOVATION OF HIMACHAL SARAI BHAWAN
Himachal Sarai Bhawan is the place in Sector 24 Chandigarh where patients from Himachal Pradesh can stay for their treatment in PGI & GMCH-32. Himachal Sarai Bhawan used to be in a very poor condition and after HPSU raised the matter with HP Govt. the Grant of Rupees 16 lacs were sanctioned to renovate it. Staff of Himachal Sarai Bhawan demanded some very needful and important things like wheel chairs, stretchers, Refrigerator for medicines and cooler, HPSU collected the funds and donated Rupees 60,000/- for this noble cause. CONSTRUCTION OF HIMACHAL SEVA SADAN
There are only 51 Beds in Himachal Sarai Bhawan which are not sufficient for the patients from the region, therefore HPSU demanded a new place to be constructed. With blessing of Hon'ble Chief Minister Raja Virbhadra Singh Ji the same was achieved with Rupees 10 Crores Himachal Seva Sadan was built. HPSU's BLOOD BANK IN PGI
Patients from Himachal Pradesh used too find it difficult to arrange blood in PGI and GMCH-32. HPSU took the initiative to organise blood donation camps and formed its own blood bank in PGI on the name of Amar Shahid Capt. Till the date HPSU has organised 12 Blood Donation Camps and donated more than 1600 units of blood for the noble cause. OUR AMBITIOUS PROJECTS
