Chaminoo P.O. Barour Chamba H.P.

It is located at the confluence of rivulets Saal and Hul amidst Pir Panjal ranges, 12 kilometres away from the historic town of Chamba. The region is home to ethnic communities of Gujjar and Gaddi tribes. It is built on a land that was transferred to the owners in the 13th century as evidenced by a copper plate. H20 house is perhaps the only property in the world that sits atop a Gharat, a trad

itional flour mill run by the naturally flowing water stream. H20 House listed in the Top 10 homestay in India by Airbnb . This property has 4 exquisite huts designed aesthetically for both comfort and luxury. The sheer elegance of its interiors complements perfectly with the serene exteriors. It also offers spacious seating areas for yoga, meditation and meetings. It is a perfect escapade for those who want to savour pristine nature and vibrant culture. The places around H20 house offer: breathtaking spectacles, bewitching walks, multiethnic cuisine, and endless opportunities for anglers, trekkers and campers. H20 along with other home stays in the vicinity provides a perfect example of community driven tourist destination being run on sustainability principles.

Proud Moment for NotOnMap H2O House!

We are honoured to share that NotOnMap H2O House, Himachal Pradesh has been invited to present our community-oriented tourism model at the Global Responsible Tourism Meet 2026 in Beypore, Kerala on 7th & 8th February 2026.

From the mountains of Chamba to a global platform — our journey of building tourism with the community, for the community is being recognised at an international forum.

Our model highlights:
1. Community-owned & community-managed hospitality
2. Local livelihood generation through homestays & self-help groups
3. Women-led community kitchen initiatives
4. Preservation of indigenous culture & traditions
5. Youth engagement & rural entrepreneurship
6. Sustainable, low-impact travel experiences

This is not just a presentation — it is the voice of our villages reaching the world stage.

A heartfelt thanks to Sh Rupesh Kumar K, CEO, Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society, for inviting us and giving us this valuable opportunity to present our model on a global platform.

Chalo Chamba – Explore the Unexplored.

This is not a restaurant.
It is a kitchen where women come together—after fields, homes, and everyday work—to cook the food they have grown up eating.

Meals here are slow and seasonal, shaped by firewood, patience, and village rhythm. Every plate carries care, memory, and responsibility—because food here is not just about taste.

When you eat at the Women Community Kitchen, H2O House, Chamba, you are not being served.
You are being welcomed.

Come with time.
Eat with respect.
